WHATS A CLOTHING SWAP

This is a totally FREE event, It's called a "swap" because so many people bring clothes they no longer need, and take what they DO NEED. 



HOW DOES IT WORK

At home, sort clean clothes (clothes you wouldn't mind putting on yourself to go out in public) by gender (Newborn to plus size we take) into boxes or bags. THEN, when you get to the center for your appointment just give the bags/boxes to us and we will put it away. Next comes the fun part. You go to the tables/totes with the gender clothes you are looking for and take what you need. Free of charge. No strings attached. We ask that you take ONLY what you need for your household only. Some families are looking to clean out the clothes they no longer use and they bring boxes of clothes in and sometimes leave with just one or two "special" things. Other Children/teens/adults are really in NEED of clothes, and come with little or nothing, but leave with bags of clothes for their family. Others just bring just to donate.

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Wash and sort them by gender ( Children to plus size). Then bring your donations with you to the event swap. If you have nothing to bring the first three times that is fine but by the 4th time you will have to have items to swap.
